As an IT support engineer at Braden, you are responsible for providing in-depth support for technical issues and resolving critical incidents. You take a leading role in designing and implementing scalable, reliable IT infrastructures while working closely with IT architects. Whether it involves virtualization, cloud platforms, or network security, you tackle complex challenges and resolve disruptions effectively. In addition, you lead major IT projects such as system migrations, infrastructure redesigns, or the implementation of new security solutions. Collaborating with external vendors, you resolve advanced hardware and software issues. Finally, you serve as the key intermediary between internal teams and external parties. You will start with a one-year temporary contract, with the prospect of a permanent position Remote working is possible by arrangement, with a work-from-home allowance of €2,35 per day A completed degree in information technology, computer science, or a related field, along with at least five years of experience in an advanced technical support role You also have extensive expertise in server management, virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud computing (Azure, AWS), networking, and cybersecurity protocols A strong command of the English language, both spoken and written. After that, you will have a conversation with Bo Bastiaens (administrative-/HR-accountant) and a second interview with the IT-manager at Braden, where the specifics of the role will be discussed.
