Job Description

As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will:

  • Understand user requirements and make specifications for embedded applications.
  • Write, debug, and troubleshoot C code.
  • Design, develop, and implement unit tests and functional tests.
  • Improve critical parts of our code for speed or power consumption.
  • Interact with hardware engineers, application software engineers, and lead engineers for product development.
  • Maintain our embedded software products.
  • Mentor junior team members.

Requirements

Must haves

  • Strong team player, able to work collaboratively and independently.
  • Ownership of projects, contributing to design and implementation.
  • Proficiency in embedded C programming, debugging, and troubleshooting.
  • Ability to critically read C code and provide feedback.
  • Proficient in Python programming.
  • Knowledge of programming microcontrollers, especially ARM Cortex-M.
  • Knowledge of real-time operating systems.
  • Bachelor’s or higher degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Embedded Systems, or related fields.
  • 10+ years of experience as an Embedded Software Engineer.
  • Good communication and documentation skills, fluent in English.

Nice to haves

  • Experience in the semiconductor industry.
  • Deep understanding of GNSS positioning technologies.
  • Experience with FPGAs.
  • Knowledge of CMake.
  • Signal processing experience.
  • Hardware background with debugging and schematic reading skills.
