OT Architect
Summary Description:
Next Ventures is seeking a Domain Architect OT to support the ongoing energy transition through the development and governance of its OT and telecom infrastructure. This is a strategically critical role, working across Telecom, OT Platforms, Datacenters, Station Automation, and Cybersecurity, following a Security by Design approach.

Netherlands (On-site Hybrid)
Dutch & English fluency required
Requirements Description:
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in OT architecture within critical infrastructure (preferably the energy sector), with deep understanding of security frameworks and scalable technical design.
Tasks Description:
- Own the architecture for OT and telecom domains
- Develop and maintain the OT & I&T Evolution Plan (5-year roadmap)
- Translate the evolution plan into actionable projects and frameworks
- Create and maintain Project Start Architecture documents
- Guide design and implementation teams through the project lifecycle
- Collaborate weekly with service delivery managers and security experts
- Work with frameworks like TOGAF and SAM (Stedin Architecture Model)
Essential Skills/Experience:
- University degree in Computer Science, Business IT, or similar
- 3–5+ years in an OT Architect or equivalent role
- Knowledge of: VMware vSphere, Nutanix AHV, Windows Server, Red Hat, storage/backups, networking (MPLS), SCADA, containers
- Familiarity with: IEC-62443, TOGAF, Archimate, SAFe, BPM (BlueDolphin)
- Strong stakeholder communication and advisory skills
Desirable Skills/Additional Info:
- Previous experience in the energy/utilities sector
- Understanding of compliance and regulatory landscapes in critical infrastructure
- Hands-on mindset with a strategic, long-term vision
