We are looking for an experienced Ping Directory Developer to join our team in the Netherlands. This is a full-time position for a seasoned professional with over 8 years of experience in Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions, particularly with deep expertise in Ping Identity suite (PingDirectory, PingSync, PingProxy, PingGovernance).
You will play a key role in the installation, configuration, maintenance, and migration of complex directory environments and infrastructure-as-code implementations.
Key Responsibilities
- Expert-level configuration and management of PingDirectory, PingSync, PingProxy, and PingGovernance
- Installation via binary and Docker image, including Helm chart deployments
- Plan and execute installation and upgrade strategies
- Design and implement multi-instance replication and SCIM API solutions
- Perform LDIF data import/export and manage LDAP data synchronization with external systems
- Backup and recovery of LDAP DB and change logs
- Design and develop schema, data structures, and directory information tree (DIT) placement strategies
- Configure directory connections, backends, root DN, and access control
- Implement global and local ACI with strong access control policies
- Application monitoring using JMX settings, AppDynamics, Azure Application Insights, and Log Analytics
- Expertise in token and certificate-based authentication, scope management, and token lifecycle
- Proficient in using Terraform for infrastructure as code and application setup
- Lead and support Azure migration projects (applications and data)
- Work extensively with Azure resources (IaaS, PaaS, AKS, App Services, VNets, VMs)
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, YAML scripting, and external integrations
- Leverage tools such as Splunk and ServiceNow for monitoring and incident management
Requirements
8+ years of experience in IAM and enterprise directory services
Deep hands-on experience with Ping Identity products
Strong command over Azure cloud services and DevOps practices
Solid background in scripting, Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes
Familiar with monitoring, logging, and incident management tools
Proven success in enterprise-grade IAM solution design and deployment
