Their extensive product range combined with a real focus on outstanding customer service, has made them a trusted and exclusive partner for a number of leading equipment manufacturers such as Hitachi High Tech, Sensofar, Rtec Instruments, Moorfield Nanotechnology, Park Systems and Horiba Scientific.Due to continued growth, they are looking to add an experienced Service Engineer to the existing service team of 4.Role and responsibilitiesThe installation and commissioning of mechanical testing and characterisation instruments at customer sites across the BENELUX & Nordics territories Training of customers in the operation & use of instrumentsCarrying out routine preventative maintenance visitsResponding to emergency service call-outs and repairsFault diagnosis and resolution using both mechanical, electrical and software fault-finding skills.Providing full written reports on activitiesThe Person To be successful in this role, you should have at least 2-3 years of experience as a service engineer, working with complex equipment analytical instruments such as optical microscopes, laser deposition systems, photonics devices, sample preparation tools, electron microscopes, spectrometers, X-ray CT systems, MRI scanners, particle analysis machines, or similar.A background in Electronics or Mechatronics is highly desirable.
