Currently, we are developing software for advanced on-board UAV situational awareness in military applications. Using low-cost and widely available sensors and compute, our solutions are built for scalability. From there, we plan to develop a line-up of interconnected solutions to safeguard European safety.Our team consists of engineers that are passionate about the technology and solutions they develop. The only time most of us are not thinking about the technology is when we are asleep, and sometimes even then. Our team members have a background in different fields such as Aerospace Engineering, Computational Science and Engineering, Robotics and Computer Graphics. Our office is located in the Aerospace Innovation Hub, a start-up hub located on the TU Delft campus in the faculty of Aerospace Engineering.We work closely with top-tier partners, ranging from government agencies and prime contractors to academic research institutes and other start-ups. Our projects span from large tender orders in collaboration with partners to low TRL research with government agencies. Whether through formal R&D programs or rapid prototyping tracks, we operate at the intersection of innovation and deployment.Your roleYou’ll be a central force behind the scenes, making sure our business operations run smoothly, stay organized, and are ready to scale. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the entire team and work closely alongside the CEO, supporting day-to-day execution and long-term growth. Your responsibilities includeFinancial coordination – You’ll make sure our financials are in order: collecting invoices, communicating with our accountant, reviewing monthly reports, and drafting financial overviews for both internal and external stakeholders. (No need to do actual bookkeeping, we’ve got a dedicated bookkeeper for that.)Contract drafting – You’ll help prepare agreements for new hires, partners, and customers. (And don’t worry, our legal advisor handles the fine print.)Hiring & onboarding – You’ll keep our recruitment process smooth and structured, serving as the first point of contact for potential team members and ensuring a great onboarding experience.Procurement & Inventory Management – Even though we’re a software company, building our technology often depends on the right hardware—from desks and development kits to GPU boards. You’ll be our go-to person for sourcing what we need and keeping our inventory organized and up to date.Project administration – Our engineers are brilliant, but organization isn’t always their strong suit. You’ll take the lead on tracking deadlines, project timelines, and time registrations to keep everything on course.Operational scaling & support – As a fast-growing start-up, every week brings new challenges. Many processes are still being built, and you’ll play a key role, sometimes leading projects, to help define and implement the structures we need to grow.What we expect from youBachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience in Business Administration, Operations, Finance, or a related field.Fluency in English (spoken and written); Dutch is a plus.Experience with basic financial administration (e.g. organizing invoices, reading financial reports, communicating with accountants).Familiarity with drafting contracts or business documents (formal legal training not required).Proactive and independent – You don’t wait for instructions; you anticipate needs, take initiative, and follow through. You are not afraid to take your own decisions and take ownership of your work.Structured and detail-oriented – You bring order to chaos. Whether it’s documents, deadlines, or processes, you know how to keep things organized.Discreet and trustworthy – You’ll work with sensitive financial and legal information, and we trust you to handle it with care.Flexible and hands-on – This is a start-up.
