Senior Business Development Manager

to drive growth across

Benelux and Scandinavia , with a focus on the

protein, meat, poultry, cheese, and dairy sectors .

This is a strategic and high-impact commercial role offering significant visibility and career growth within a respected international organization.

Key Responsibilities
Lead commercial development and execution of the

sales strategy

for flexible packaging solutions (vacuum bags, barrier films, MAP solutions, thermoforming films, etc.) within the

protein and dairy industries

in Benelux and Scandinavia.
Identify, target, and acquire

new customers

while expanding business with existing accounts across

Benelux and Scandinavia markets .
Act as a key commercial interface between clients and internal stakeholders (R&D, Product Management, Operations), ensuring solutions meet both technical and commercial requirements.
Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to inform strategic decision-making and identify growth opportunities.
Represent the company at key industry events, customer meetings, and trade exhibitions throughout the region.
Provide regular sales forecasts, pipeline updates, and market intelligence to senior management.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional international teams to align regional initiatives with global priorities.

Candidate Profile (M/F/D)
A minimum of

8 years of relevant commercial experience , ideally within the

flexible packaging

or

food processing

sectors, with a strong focus on

protein and dairy

applications.
Demonstrated success in

B2B business development, key account management , or

technical sales

across multiple countries in

Benescan.
Strong knowledge of the food value chain and packaging requirements for perishable products.
A proactive, structured, and strategic approach to business development, with excellent negotiation and relationship management skills.
Fluency in

English

is essential. Additional Southern European languages are advantageous.
Willingness to travel extensively (up to 50%) across the region.
