About The Job
The PPM Senior Team Leader reports to the Head of / Director of Procurement BL and to the VP/Director of Regional Procurement.
Location: Hengelo, Netherlands

- The turnover of the Bids, Projects or Products of his/her BL/Region he/she works for
- The amount of procurement
- The savings from suppliers on the costs of designed solutions
About You
The main mission of the PPM Team Leader is to develop and promote Thales procurement competitiveness both internally and externally (customers, consortia, etc.).
Main tasks include:
- Managing a team of PPMs based in the region
- Ensuring all PPMs apply procurement rules and best practices
- Setting up a procurement team that enhances regional business competitiveness by involving procurement early in solution/product definition, bringing added value from suppliers, securing quality and delivery, and coordinating with organizational units on procurement strategies, resources, sourcing decisions, and standardization efforts.
- Monitoring procurement activities on bids/projects/products and tracking performance, risks, and opportunities
- Contributing to the acquisition MYB of the GBU with relevant data
- Ensuring compliance with contractual requirements, Thales procurement policy, and the ‘Manage Acquisition’ process of Chorus 2.
