In this position, you will be responsible for various aspects of Trade Accounting within a dynamic, international, and challenging environment. You will engage with our core business regarding the financial results for the commodities under your responsibility.
Our Business Control team is part of the Accounting department at Viterra B.V., comprising 9 supportive, motivated, and ambitious colleagues. The team works collaboratively in an informal setting.
Your role in our network
- Prepare Trade Balance Sheets and Trade P&L statements for multiple commodities.
- Analyze global results of the Viterra group per commodity and collaborate with accountants across different offices.
- Manage mark-to-market valuations of commodities, derivatives, and freight positions.
- Reconcile inventory and derivatives positions with third-party statements.
- Participate in the audit process of Viterra B.V.
- Follow up on ad-hoc business requests and IT projects aimed at improving accounting and reporting processes.

Who are we looking for?
- A master’s degree in (Financial) Economics or a related field.
- Experience in an audit firm, preferably Big 4, is a strong plus.
- Proficiency in MS Office and SAP.

- Accuracy, strong analytical skills, and independence, combined with teamwork.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn about our business.
